Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp and Singleton | Verify Customers both address different facets of account management on Shopify, despite sharing the 'Accounts and login' category. Prizma focuses on streamlining the login process, offering multiple passwordless authentication methods like SMS OTP, WhatsApp Login, Social Login (Facebook/Google), and Email OTP. This is primarily aimed at improving user experience and reducing login friction. Conversely, Singleton | Verify Customers is designed for stores requiring strict customer control. It allows merchants to approve or decline customer accounts, restrict access to pricing and 'add to cart' functionality for unapproved users, and create custom registration forms. The primary difference lies in their core purpose: Prizma is about simplifying access, while Singleton is about controlling access. Prizma's strength is in offering a variety of convenient login methods, enhancing user experience and potentially boosting conversion rates by removing login barriers. Singleton, on the other hand, excels in providing businesses with a mechanism to vet their customers, making it ideal for wholesale businesses, membership sites, or stores selling age-restricted products. The target audience for Prizma is any Shopify store owner looking to improve login UX. Singleton is best suited for businesses requiring tight customer control and verification processes.

Our Verdict
For general e-commerce stores seeking to boost conversion rates and provide a more convenient login experience, Prizma OTP Login with WhatsApp is the better choice. Its focus on passwordless authentication methods directly addresses common user frustrations associated with traditional logins. However, for businesses that require a high degree of customer control, such as those operating in wholesale, membership, or age-restricted product sectors, Singleton | Verify Customers offers the necessary tools to vet and manage user access. Its ability to restrict access and customize registration forms provides the security and control needed in these specific scenarios. While Prizma excels at simplification, Singleton provides essential control for niche business models.
