Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Games vs SweepWidget Giveaways Contestsfor Shopify (2026)
Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Games and SweepWidget Giveaways Contests both operate within the giveaways and contests category on Shopify, but they target different merchant needs and employ distinct strategies. Prizo focuses on creating interactive on-site experiences through mini-games like Spin the Wheel and Scratch Cards, utilizing AI-powered customization to seamlessly integrate with a store's branding. Its core value proposition revolves around enhancing customer engagement and loyalty directly within the Shopify store through immediate gratification and personalized rewards. SweepWidget, on the other hand, emphasizes viral growth and external social media engagement through contests and giveaways. SweepWidget's strength lies in its wide reach across 30+ social media platforms and its comprehensive contest management features, including anti-cheating tools and email integrations. It offers a broader range of contest types, from photo and video contests to refer-a-friend giveaways, catering to merchants seeking to expand their brand awareness and attract new customers through viral marketing. While Prizo offers analytics to track performance, SweepWidget’s features for growing newsletter lists and driving traffic from social channels provide a more externally focused growth strategy.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing on-site customer engagement and seeking to boost conversions within their existing store traffic, Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Games appears to be the better choice. Its AI-powered customization and focus on immediate rewards create compelling interactive experiences that can enhance customer loyalty. However, the low review count is something to consider.
SweepWidget Giveaways Contests is better suited for merchants focused on expanding their brand awareness and acquiring new customers through viral marketing campaigns. Its extensive integration with social media platforms and diverse contest formats provide a powerful tool for driving traffic and generating leads. While the rating is slightly lower, the higher review count offers more comprehensive user feedback. Consider your primary marketing goals (retention vs. acquisition) when choosing between the two.
