Product Automator vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Product Automator and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both aim to enhance Shopify workflows, but they approach it from vastly different angles. Product Automator, implied by its name, likely focuses on automating product-related tasks. However, with only 3 reviews, its functionalities and target audience are unclear. SupaEasy, on the other hand, is explicitly designed to help merchants transition from deprecated Shopify Scripts to the new Shopify Functions system, particularly for discounts, delivery, payments, and validation. Its AI-powered function generation and compatibility with all Shopify plans position it as a user-friendly solution for both Shopify Plus users migrating scripts and regular merchants seeking advanced checkout customizations. SupaEasy's recognition as a ShopTank winner at Shopify Editions further adds to its credibility. SupaEasy directly addresses a specific challenge within the Shopify ecosystem: the shift from Scripts to Functions. This targeted approach, combined with AI-assistance and a broader range of features related to checkout customization, makes it potentially more valuable to a wider range of merchants. Product Automator's lack of detailed information and limited reviews make it difficult to assess its strengths or target audience compared to the well-defined value proposition of SupaEasy. The significant difference in review volume further suggests a much larger user base and more established presence for SupaEasy within the Shopify app marketplace. SupaEasy emphasizes the transition to Shopify functions.

Our Verdict
Given the limited information available for Product Automator, it's difficult to provide a definitive recommendation. However, based on the available data, SupaEasy: AI Functions creator appears to be the stronger choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026, particularly those looking to migrate from Shopify Scripts or implement advanced checkout customization without coding expertise. Its AI-powered assistance, compatibility with all Shopify plans, and positive reviews suggest a user-friendly and valuable solution.
If a merchant specifically needs product-related automation and is willing to take a chance on a relatively new app with limited reviews, Product Automator might be worth exploring. However, for those seeking a well-established and feature-rich solution for managing Shopify Functions, SupaEasy offers a more compelling proposition.
