Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, code-free way to add extra information across *all* products, Product Extra Info presents a compelling option. Its appeal lies in its dynamic update capability and ease of use. However, the lack of reviews introduces some uncertainty. Variant Description Pro is the superior choice for merchants selling products with significant variations. Its ability to add unique descriptions and input options to each variant, along with the availability of a rich text editor and bulk editing, addresses the complexities of variable product offerings, despite requiring a deeper understanding of product structures and possibly metafields.
