Our Verdict
SMART Variant Descriptions appears to be the better choice for merchants who need to provide specific details for each variant of their products. The app's higher rating and existing customer reviews lend credibility. Product markdown field is best suited for merchants who prioritize visually rich and structured product descriptions through Markdown. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice, but may appeal to those comfortable with potentially early stage products. Until Product markdown field can accumulate reviews, SMART Variant Descriptions is a safer bet, especially for stores needing to quickly solve the problem of variant descriptions.
