Product Rentals Pro vs Tally ‑ Auto DTF Gangsheeterfor Shopify (2026)
Product Rentals Pro and Tally ‑ Auto DTF Gangsheeter cater to vastly different Shopify merchant needs, despite sharing a single, broad Shopify category: Custom products - Other. Product Rentals Pro, with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 36 reviews, focuses on enabling rental functionality for physical products. It targets merchants who want to offer rental options alongside sales, manage booking calendars, and streamline rental operations. Tally ‑ Auto DTF Gangsheeter, on the other hand, targets merchants involved in direct-to-film (DTF) printing, specifically those allowing customers to upload designs and customize products for printing. The core distinction lies in their target markets and features. Product Rentals Pro facilitates the renting of physical goods, offering features such as booking calendars, buffer configurations for delivery methods, and automated notifications. It streamlines the entire rental process, from scheduling to fulfillment and returns. Tally ‑ Auto DTF Gangsheeter, conversely, is designed for print-on-demand businesses specializing in DTF printing. Its strength is in its automation of gang sheet creation, AI-powered upscaling, and customer design tools. It prioritizes efficient print preparation and order processing for custom-printed products.

Our Verdict
Product Rentals Pro is the clear choice for Shopify merchants aiming to rent physical products. Its high rating and specific features cater to rental businesses. Tally ‑ Auto DTF Gangsheeter is suitable for merchants specializing in DTF printing who need to automate the process from customer design to print preparation. However, the lower rating and limited number of reviews should prompt careful consideration and possibly a trial period to ensure it meets specific workflow requirements. Given the current data, Product Rentals Pro appears to be the more robust and established option for its target market.
Ultimately, the best choice depends entirely on the specific business model. If you're renting out items, Product Rentals Pro is the better fit. If you're offering custom DTF printing, Tally might be worth exploring despite its lower rating, especially if gang sheet automation and customer design tools are critical.
