Progressier — PWA & Web Push vs PushAlert ‑ Push Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
Progressier — PWA & Web Push and PushAlert ‑ Push Notifications both aim to enhance Shopify stores with web push capabilities, but they approach it from different angles. Progressier positions itself as a comprehensive toolkit for converting a Shopify store into a Progressive Web App (PWA), emphasizing installability across various devices and offering features beyond just push notifications, such as a wall of love for testimonials and an app screenshot designer. PushAlert, on the other hand, focuses solely on push notifications as a direct marketing tool to recover abandoned carts, announce sales, and engage with customers through automated campaigns.
