Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) vs Shopify Launch Checkfor Shopify (2026)
Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) and Shopify Launch Check both have a 5/5 rating, but serve very different purposes for Shopify merchants. Progus COD focuses exclusively on optimizing cash on delivery sales by offering features like 1-click order forms, customizable COD rules (based on location, order value, products, etc.), and advanced visibility controls within the checkout process. This app directly targets merchants who heavily rely on or want to improve their cash on delivery conversion rates. In contrast, Shopify Launch Check's purpose is less clear from the provided data. Its sole category listing as "Operations - Other" indicates it addresses a broader range of operational tasks, but without specific features or a description, its value proposition remains undefined. The key distinction lies in their specialization. Progus COD offers a highly targeted solution for a specific payment method, while Shopify Launch Check appears to be a more general-purpose tool. The number of reviews also suggests a difference in market adoption, with Progus COD having 4 reviews compared to Shopify Launch Check's single review. This difference in reviews and feature sets hints that Progus COD might have a clearer market fit and a more readily demonstrable value proposition.

Our Verdict
For merchants actively using or considering Cash on Delivery as a payment option, Progus COD is the clear choice. Its feature set directly addresses the pain points associated with COD, such as low conversion rates and high delivery failure rates, by offering tools for optimization and control. Its customizable rules and 1-click order forms seem specifically designed to streamline the COD process and improve both customer experience and merchant efficiency.
Shopify Launch Check, on the other hand, is difficult to recommend without further information about its functionality. Its broad category listing and lack of specific features make it impossible to assess its value proposition or target audience. Unless more details emerge about Launch Check, merchants looking to optimize their COD sales should strongly consider Progus COD.
