Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) vs Snap COD ‑ Cash on Deliveryfor Shopify (2026)
Progus COD and Snap COD are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the cash-on-delivery (COD) payment option for online stores. Progus COD positions itself as a comprehensive solution to increase COD sales by minimizing checkout friction and providing granular control over COD availability. Its strengths lie in its 1-Click order forms, extensive customization options, and advanced rule-based COD visibility. Target audiences for Progus COD would be larger stores or stores experiencing high COD abandonment rates wanting to protect their business by restricting COD options. Snap COD, on the other hand, seems to focus on ease of use and faster COD order submission, particularly by adding a COD form directly on product pages. It aims to streamline the COD process and offer potential discounts for COD orders. The primary difference between the two lies in their scope and features. Progus COD offers a broader suite of functionalities including conditional display based on product, ZIP code, customer tag, cart value, and location, along with multi-language support, indicating a more mature and feature-rich product. Snap COD is more basic. Snap COD offers a simplified approach, focusing mainly on faster order submission and restricting COD to specific shipping options. This makes it a better fit for smaller stores or those just starting out with COD and looking for a simple, effective solution.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive and highly customizable COD solution, Progus COD is the clear choice. Its robust feature set, including advanced visibility rules and multi-language support, caters to businesses needing fine-grained control over their COD options, especially those struggling with high COD refusal rates. However, merchants looking for a quick and easy way to implement COD with minimal setup, and who don't require advanced features, should consider Snap COD. Its focus on faster order submission and ease of use makes it suitable for smaller stores or those just starting with COD. Given the lack of reviews for Snap COD, it's prudent to consider Progus COD due to its established user base, and its 5 star rating.
