Proof Bear ‑ Sales Popup vs Warnify Pro Warningsfor Shopify (2026)
Proof Bear ‑ Sales Popup and Warnify Pro Warnings are both notification-based apps for Shopify, but they serve distinctly different purposes. Proof Bear leverages social proof by displaying sales and add-to-cart notifications, aiming to increase conversion rates through FOMO. It focuses on creating a sense of urgency and trust by showing recent customer activity. The app boasts customization options for its popups, allowing merchants to align them with their brand's aesthetic. Warnify Pro Warnings, on the other hand, is geared towards providing crucial information to customers, managing expectations, and reducing support inquiries. It allows merchants to create warning popups related to shipping delays, product availability, pre-orders, and compliance (like P65 warnings). Unlike Proof Bear's focus on sales boosting, Warnify prioritizes clear communication and proactive information dissemination, even offering the ability to block checkout under certain conditions. Warnify also offers precise audience targeting capabilities by location, product or collection.

Our Verdict
The choice between Proof Bear and Warnify depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. Proof Bear is ideal for merchants looking to capitalize on social proof and create a sense of urgency to drive sales. It's a good fit for stores with high traffic and a desire to increase conversion rates. Warnify Pro Warnings, however, is better suited for merchants facing logistical challenges, compliance requirements, or complex product offerings that necessitate clear and proactive communication with customers. It particularly benefits stores selling internationally or dealing with pre-orders or potential shipping issues. While Warnify's higher rating and more reviews suggest stronger overall user satisfaction, the best app is the one that directly addresses the merchant's biggest pain points.
Common Questions
Does either app require coding knowledge to set up?
