Proofer Proof Management vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Proofer Proof Management and Zigpoll Customer Surveys are both Shopify apps aimed at improving business operations, but they address fundamentally different needs. Proofer focuses specifically on streamlining the custom order proofing process. It aims to automate and centralize proof management, reducing manual email communication and minimizing support requests for merchants selling customizable products. Zigpoll, on the other hand, is a comprehensive survey platform designed to gather customer feedback throughout the customer journey. It offers diverse survey types, advanced customization options, and AI-powered analytics to optimize business strategy and improve conversion rates. The primary difference lies in their purpose. Proofer caters to businesses that handle custom orders and require efficient proof management. Its strength lies in its focused approach to simplifying this specific workflow. Zigpoll targets businesses seeking to gain customer insights through surveys at various touchpoints (pre-purchase, post-purchase, abandoned checkout) and improve customer satisfaction. Its broader functionality and AI analytics are key differentiators, allowing for comprehensive data analysis and strategic business decisions. Both apps claim ease of use, but Zigpoll's 'no-code setup in seconds' suggests a potentially simpler initial configuration for broader usage.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
While both apps emphasize ease of use, Zigpoll's claim of 'no-code setup in seconds' suggests it may have a quicker initial setup process, particularly for users new to survey platforms. Proofer's setup complexity likely depends on the degree of customization merchants require for email templates and workflow integration.
Which app is better for reducing support requests?
Proofer is specifically designed to reduce support requests related to order proofing by centralizing communication and providing customers with a clear process for requesting revisions. Zigpoll may indirectly reduce support requests by identifying pain points and areas for improvement in the customer journey, but its primary focus isn't direct support reduction.
Does Proofer integrate with other marketing tools?
The provided description does not mention any specific integrations for Proofer. Zigpoll, on the other hand, explicitly states that it connects seamlessly with Shopify and your marketing stack, making it a more versatile option for businesses seeking to integrate customer data into their existing workflows.
Which app is better for businesses with a large product catalog?
Zigpoll is likely more beneficial for businesses with a large product catalog because it helps them understand customer preferences and purchase patterns across a wide range of products. Proofer's value is more concentrated on businesses offering customization options regardless of catalog size. However, a larger product catalog means a larger audience for potential surveys.
Which app is better for international businesses?
Zigpoll explicitly mentions multilingual support and customization, making it a better choice for international businesses seeking to gather feedback from customers in multiple languages. Proofer's description does not mention any language support, suggesting it may be less suitable for businesses with a global customer base.
