Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with disorganized customer, product, or order data, and who want to automate internal processes for personalized marketing and segmentation, Pro:Tagger is potentially a valuable tool. However, due to the limited number of reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app before committing to a paid plan. The 25+ pre-built workflows are a significant advantage for a quick start.
Conversely, for merchants intensely focused on understanding their customer base, improving the customer journey, and driving conversions through data-backed decisions, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the clear choice. The large number of positive reviews, coupled with its feature-rich survey capabilities and AI-powered analytics, make it a more reliable and robust solution for gathering and analyzing customer feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim ease of use with Pro:Tagger offering 25+ pre-built workflows and Zigpoll boasting no-code setup. Zigpoll is likely easier for merchants new to tagging, with drag-and-drop survey building and ready-to-go integrations. Pro:Tagger might require more configuration to set up specific tagging rules.
Which app is better for increasing sales?
Zigpoll likely has a more direct impact on sales by uncovering pain points in the customer journey and enabling targeted marketing campaigns. Abandoned checkout surveys, in particular, are designed to recover lost sales. Pro:Tagger can indirectly increase sales through improved segmentation and personalized marketing, but the impact is less immediate.
Which app is better for long-term growth?
Both apps can contribute to long-term growth. Zigpoll provides continuous insights into customer needs and preferences, allowing for ongoing optimization of products, services, and marketing strategies. Pro:Tagger helps scale operations by automating repetitive tasks, freeing up time for strategic initiatives.
Does Pro:Tagger collect data from my customers?
Pro:Tagger uses existing data within your Shopify store (customer details, order history, etc.) to apply tags. It does not directly collect new data from customers.
Can Zigpoll integrate with my email marketing platform?
Yes, Zigpoll integrates seamlessly with your marketing stack. Specific platforms supported would need to be confirmed, but the description indicates robust integration capabilities.
