Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a proven and well-reviewed app for general social proof through sales pop-ups, ProveSource: Sales Pop Ups presents a safer option given its higher number of reviews. It suggests a reliable solution. However, if the merchant is specifically looking for advanced FOMO-driven features, and they're comfortable being an early adopter and potentially dealing with issues inherent in less-established apps, TORO Sales Notifications might be worth a try. Consider the risk tolerance and specific need for customization before making a decision. TORO suits a merchant very focused on discounting and sales.
