Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync vs SavedBy Package Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync and SavedBy Package Protection are both highly-rated Shopify apps in the Orders category, but address very different pain points. Proveway focuses on optimizing PayPal transactions by automatically syncing tracking information, aiming to reduce holds, disputes, and unlock PayPal Seller Protections. It positions itself as a time-saving tool that improves cash flow and transparency with PayPal. Proveway is designed to seamlessly integrate with PayPal's existing infrastructure by matching couriers and providing an order shipment insights page for customers. SavedBy Package Protection, on the other hand, offers shipment insurance to customers at the point of sale. This protection covers losses, theft, or damage during shipping. SavedBy absorbs the financial responsibility of refunds and re-orders stemming from shipping issues, allowing merchants to retain revenue and avoid the customer service burden. It targets merchants who want to offer a smoother customer experience, reduce support costs related to shipping problems, and increase customer loyalty by offering peace of mind about package delivery. While Proveway focuses on improving PayPal's perception of the transaction, SavedBy insures the transaction against logistical issues during shipment.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync and SavedBy Package Protection depends entirely on your business needs. If you frequently experience PayPal holds, disputes, or have a significant portion of your transactions processed through PayPal, Proveway is the clear choice. Its automation of tracking and integration with PayPal's algorithms can save time and improve cash flow.
However, if your business struggles with shipping-related issues like lost, stolen, or damaged packages and the subsequent customer service burden, SavedBy is the more suitable option.
