Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync vs ShippingChimpfor Shopify (2026)
Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync and ShippingChimp serve distinct but related needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Proveway is laser-focused on improving PayPal payment processing by automatically syncing tracking information to PayPal. This aims to reduce holds, disputes, and improve seller protections, benefiting merchants who heavily rely on PayPal and seek to improve their relationship with the platform. ShippingChimp, on the other hand, is a broader shipping management solution specifically catering to eCommerce businesses shipping within Canada. It emphasizes streamlining overall shipping operations from label printing and carrier integration to real-time tracking. The key difference lies in their scope. Proveway is specialized for PayPal optimization, offering features like digital order tracing and courier mapping specific to PayPal's requirements. ShippingChimp offers a more general suite of shipping management features applicable across various carriers, but only within Canada. Therefore, the choice between the two depends on the merchant's primary pain point: issues with PayPal holds or broader shipping management challenges, particularly in Canada.
