Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync vs Trackable ‑ Order Statusfor Shopify (2026)
Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync and Trackable ‑ Order Status, while both relating to order tracking, address fundamentally different needs for Shopify merchants in 2026. Proveway is designed to optimize PayPal seller protections and reduce holds by automatically syncing tracking information with PayPal. It caters to merchants concerned about cash flow interruptions due to PayPal's risk assessments. Trackable, on the other hand, focuses on enhancing the customer experience by providing an easily accessible order tracking page based on Shopify's built-in tracking features. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily using PayPal as a payment gateway and experiencing issues with holds or reserves, Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync is the clear choice. Its focus on optimizing PayPal seller protections and providing advanced tracking features directly addresses their pain points. The larger number of reviews also suggests greater user satisfaction and a longer track record.
Trackable ‑ Order Status is better suited for smaller businesses or those primarily concerned with reducing basic customer support inquiries related to order tracking. Its simplicity and integration with standard carriers offer a quick and easy solution for providing customers with basic order status updates. However, the very limited number of reviews should be a consideration, potentially indicating it's a newer or less-established app.
