Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down vs StockIQ ‑ Out‑of‑Stock Managerfor Shopify (2026)
Pushy | Out Of Stock Push Down and StockIQ ‑ Out‑of‑Stock Manager are both Shopify apps that help merchants manage out-of-stock products, but they approach the problem with different feature sets and target slightly different merchant needs. Pushy focuses almost exclusively on pushing out-of-stock items to the bottom of collections, offering a simple, automated solution for improving product discoverability for available inventory. Its strength lies in its ease of use and real-time synchronization, prioritizing immediate updates and minimal configuration. StockIQ, on the other hand, offers a broader suite of features, including the option to hide products entirely, back-in-stock notifications for customers, and inventory alerts. StockIQ positions itself as a comprehensive inventory visibility and management tool, going beyond simple product reordering. This makes it suitable for merchants seeking a more holistic solution for managing stock levels and customer engagement surrounding out-of-stock items. While Pushy focuses on immediate presentation within collections, StockIQ offers more nuanced control over visibility, including delaying hiding and offering customer notifications. The substantial difference in review count suggests a much larger user base for StockIQ, implying greater market presence and a potentially wider range of supported use cases.
