PWC: Customer Accounts & Pages vs Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
PWC: Customer Accounts & Pages and Shopney - Mobile App Builder both aim to improve the customer experience on Shopify, but they address entirely different aspects. PWC focuses on enhancing the customer account page within the existing web store, providing features like wishlists, order management options, and customizable registration forms. It seems particularly well-suited for B2B and B2C stores seeking to offer a more professional and functional customer portal. In contrast, Shopney is a mobile app builder, allowing merchants to create native iOS and Android apps for their stores. This caters to merchants prioritizing mobile commerce and aiming to increase customer retention through push notifications and a smoother shopping experience on mobile devices. While both apps touch on customer loyalty through improved UX, their approaches and target audiences are vastly different.

Our Verdict
Choosing between PWC: Customer Accounts & Pages and Shopney depends entirely on your business needs and priorities. If you're primarily focused on improving the customer experience on your existing Shopify web store, particularly the account page, and require advanced customization options, PWC is the more suitable choice. Its B2B capabilities, suggested by the description, make it appealing for that model. However, if you're looking to capitalize on the growing mobile commerce trend and provide a dedicated mobile shopping experience with features like push notifications and in-app chat, Shopney is the clear winner. Its significantly higher review count suggests broader adoption and satisfaction among users pursuing a mobile-first strategy. Given the massive difference in reviews, Shopney has established itself as a preferred mobile app builder.
Common Questions
Which app requires coding knowledge?
According to the descriptions, Shopney requires no coding knowledge, while PWC doesn't explicitly state this, suggesting its 'Custom CSS for Pages' feature could require some.
Which app is better for a B2B business?
PWC: Customer Accounts & Pages explicitly mentions being an excellent choice for B2B stores due to its flexible plugin system and account page features that can be tailored to B2B needs.
Does either app offer a free trial?
The provided information does not mention whether either app offers a free trial. Further research on the Shopify App Store would be needed.
Which app is more likely to provide a greater ROI?
It depends on your business strategy. If mobile sales are a significant focus and you want to reduce reliance on paid ads, Shopney may offer a higher ROI. If you want a more robust account experience for customers, PWC may offer a higher ROI.
What are the risks of choosing an app with few reviews?
Choosing an app with very few reviews, like PWC, carries a higher risk. While the 5/5 rating is promising, the small sample size makes it difficult to determine its long-term reliability and customer support quality. Shopney's high number of reviews provides more confidence in its performance and support.
