Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form are both Shopify apps that address pricing, but they cater to distinctly different needs. Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price aims to provide flexible pricing strategies for B2B and wholesale merchants selling across multiple markets. Its core functionality revolves around hiding or modifying prices based on location, allowing for tailored pricing based on market conditions. YouQuote: Request a Quote Form, on the other hand, focuses on enabling customers to request quotes for products, often used for complex or custom orders where a fixed price is difficult to determine upfront. The primary difference lies in their approach to pricing. Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price is about controlling visibility and adjusting existing prices, while YouQuote is about facilitating custom price negotiation. Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price is suited for merchants who need to maintain distinct pricing tiers or hide prices from certain customer segments in different geographical markets, or require login to access prices. Our Verdict
For merchants needing to manage different price points across different global markets or customer segments, Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price is the more relevant app. The ability to hide or modify prices based on geographical location is valuable for businesses with diverse wholesale operations. However, the lack of reviews suggests caution. YouQuote: Request a Quote Form is the better choice for businesses selling highly customized or complex products where prices cannot be easily pre-determined. The high rating and multiple reviews give more confidence in its stability and effectiveness. Given the lack of social proof for Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price, it's difficult to wholeheartedly recommend it over YouQuote until some positive reviews appear.
Common Questions
What problem does Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price solve that YouQuote does not?
Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price directly addresses the challenge of managing diverse pricing strategies across different geographical markets or customer segments by hiding or modifying prices, which YouQuote doesn't offer. YouQuote is designed to collect quote requests, not to control price visibility.
Which app is better for a dropshipping business?
Neither app is explicitly designed for dropshipping. However, if the dropshipping business resells standardized products and wants to control price visibility based on customer location, Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price could be useful. If the business offers custom-configured or branded dropshipping products, YouQuote would be more appropriate.
Is either app useful for a business that only sells to retail customers in one country?
YouQuote could still be useful if the business sells custom products or requires price negotiation. Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price would likely not be useful, since it is designed for different market regions.
Which app is likely easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, YouQuote is likely easier to set up because it involves creating a simple form. Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price requires configuring pricing rules for different markets, which may involve a steeper learning curve. But the lack of reviews for Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price makes it difficult to be certain.
If I need to provide discounts to different customer groups, which app should I choose?
Q:B2B Wholesale Hide Price, with its hide-price rules tied to specific markets, is the more suitable app if the customer groups are delineated by market/region. However, it doesn't explicitly state it offers discount functionality; it focuses on price visibility. Without testing it or seeing documentation, it is impossible to say how it interacts with discounts. YouQuote would not be directly helpful in providing discounts.
