Our Verdict
Sense RTL: עברית is the clear choice for Shopify merchants specifically targeting customers in Israel. Its 5-star rating and significantly higher review count demonstrate strong user satisfaction with its RTL alignment and Hebrew translation features. Qe: Speechify | Voice Search, with its low rating and single review, carries a much higher risk and may not be a reliable solution for merchants seeking voice search capabilities. While the concept of voice search is potentially appealing, the current user feedback suggests that Speechify may not deliver on its promises. Merchants should prioritize Sense RTL for Hebrew-speaking customers and thoroughly investigate alternatives to Speechify.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a general English-speaking audience?
Neither app is explicitly designed for a general English-speaking audience. Speechify focuses on voice search, which is language-agnostic in principle but lacks positive reviews. Sense RTL is explicitly for Hebrew support.
Which app is easier to set up?
Sense RTL claims to be fast and easy for RTL alignment. Without user reviews for Speechify, it is difficult to assess its setup complexity, but the nature of voice integration may imply more intricate configuration.
Does Speechify translate my store's content into other languages?
Based on the provided information, Speechify does NOT translate store content. It provides voice search and audio instructions, potentially useful for accessibility but not for translation.
Can I use both apps together?
Technically, yes, you could install both apps. However, their functionalities are largely independent. There's no inherent synergy between voice search and RTL alignment/Hebrew translation. It's likely redundant unless you are targeting Hebrew-speaking customers AND specifically want to offer voice search alongside RTL support.
Is Sense RTL only useful for stores based in Israel?
While primarily designed for the Israeli market, Sense RTL could be useful for any store targeting Hebrew-speaking customers, regardless of the store's physical location.
