Quick Returns and Exchanges ↻↺ vs Releasit Cash on Delivery CODfor Shopify (2026)
Quick Returns and Exchanges ↻↺ and Releasit Cash on Delivery COD are both Shopify apps designed to optimize post-purchase operations, but they address entirely different aspects. Quick Returns focuses on streamlining the returns and exchange process, providing a branded portal, automation rules, and features to reduce return costs and potentially increase revenue through store credits and smart exchanges. Releasit COD, on the other hand, targets merchants using Cash on Delivery (COD) payment methods, offering tools to manage COD fees, verify orders via WhatsApp OTP, collect partial payments, and reduce RTO (Return to Origin) issues. The primary difference lies in their target audience. Quick Returns caters to merchants seeking to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency in handling returns, exchanges, and refunds. Releasit COD is tailored towards merchants in regions where COD is prevalent, helping them mitigate risks associated with this payment method, such as fake orders and failed deliveries. Both apps aim to improve operational efficiency, but Quick Returns focuses on reverse logistics, while Releasit COD centers on optimizing the COD payment process.

Our Verdict
The choice between Quick Returns and Exchanges ↻↺ and Releasit Cash on Delivery COD depends entirely on the specific needs of the merchant. If your store faces challenges with returns, high return rates, or a need for a more streamlined return process, Quick Returns is the better choice. Its features are designed to automate and improve reverse logistics, potentially saving time and money.
However, if your business relies heavily on Cash on Delivery as a payment method, especially in regions where COD fraud and RTOs are common, Releasit COD is the clear winner. The WhatsApp OTP verification and partial payment options can significantly reduce risks associated with COD. Attempting to use Quick Returns to solve COD related issues would be inappropriate, and vice-versa.
