Quick Social Login vs Recurpay: Subscriptions appfor Shopify (2026)
Quick Social Login and Recurpay: Subscriptions app, while both listed under the 'Customer loyalty' category on Shopify, serve entirely different purposes and target distinct merchant needs. Quick Social Login aims to streamline the login process for customers by enabling them to use their social media accounts. Its primary focus is convenience and ease of access. In contrast, Recurpay: Subscriptions app is designed to help merchants implement and manage subscription-based business models, focusing on recurring revenue generation and customer retention through subscription management tools. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Quick Social Login addresses user authentication and aims to reduce friction during the initial sign-up or login phase. Recurpay: Subscriptions app, on the other hand, focuses on post-login engagement and revenue generation by providing tools for managing subscriptions, recurring payments, and customer subscription preferences. This distinction means that merchants seeking to simplify user onboarding should consider Quick Social Login (though carefully considering its low ratings), while those looking to build recurring revenue streams through subscriptions should focus on Recurpay.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Recurpay: Subscriptions app appears to be the stronger choice for merchants seeking a reliable and well-supported subscription management solution. Its high rating and significant number of positive reviews suggest a positive user experience. The 24/7 live support is a considerable advantage. Quick Social Login, while addressing a valid need, suffers from a significantly lower rating and fewer reviews, indicating potential issues with functionality, support, or user satisfaction.
For merchants primarily concerned with streamlining the login process and willing to risk potential issues, Quick Social Login may be an option to explore. However, given the alternative, it's difficult to recommend over Recurpay, which offers a comprehensive suite of features for building a sustainable subscription business and boasts very high customer satisfaction. Merchants should prioritize Recurpay if they require a robust and reliable subscription management solution.
