Quinn Shoppable Videos & Reels vs Rubik Variant Images & Swatchfor Shopify (2026)

Quinn focuses on leveraging the power of short-form video content, mirroring platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok, to drive sales directly from videos. Rubik, on the other hand, addresses the challenge of displaying variant-specific images for products with multiple options (e.g., colors, sizes), aiming to improve the customer experience and reduce return rates. This app is geared towards merchants seeking to boost conversions through dynamic, interactive video content. Rubik's strength resides in enhanced product visualization and simplification for customers browsing products with multiple variants. The app features include assigning multiple images per variant, auto-assignment with AI, and integration with themes and page builders without impacting page speed. This addresses merchants who want to improve customer experience and reduce returns by displaying relevant images for each variant. The two apps target different parts of the customer journey. Quinn focuses on attracting and engaging customers at the top of the funnel, while Rubik aids in the decision-making process further down the funnel, once a customer is already viewing a specific product.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Quinn Shoppable Videos & Reels and Rubik Variant Images & Swatch depends heavily on your specific business needs. If you are looking to boost engagement and conversions through visually appealing video content, Quinn is the clear choice. However, if your store features products with multiple variants (e.g., size, color), and you want to improve the customer experience by showcasing relevant images for each variant, Rubik is the superior option.
