Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGC vs Togethrfor Shopify (2026)
Rave: Referral, Affiliate, UGC and Togethr are both 5-star rated Shopify apps designed to leverage word-of-mouth marketing through referrals and affiliate programs. However, they differ in their approach and feature set. Rave positions itself as a comprehensive platform for referral, affiliate, and user-generated content, emphasizing non-traditional incentives like cash and free items, alongside gamification. Togethr focuses more narrowly on referral programs, highlighting customizable campaigns, automated reward management, and real-time analytics for organic customer base expansion. Rave appeals to merchants looking for a holistic marketing solution that incorporates UGC and offers diverse reward options, while Togethr is suited for those prioritizing simplicity and direct referral marketing with a focus on customization and automated processes. Rave's higher number of reviews suggests wider adoption or a longer market presence. Rave's feature list, while extensive, might also mean a steeper learning curve compared to Togethr’s more focused offering. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific needs and resource capacity. Both fall into the 'Affiliate programs' category and can help with customer acquisition, but offer different implementation and strategic approaches.
