Our Verdict
Razorpay Secure, despite its claim of seamless onboarding, is difficult to recommend due to the complete absence of user reviews. This lack of social proof is a significant red flag. Merchants prioritizing robust payment processing and a wide range of payment options might consider it *if* they are willing to take a chance and thoroughly test it themselves. They should also check the app developer's reputation outside of the Shopify App Store.
Try with Mirra Before You Buy is the clear winner for merchants in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors. Its strong 5/5 rating with 28 reviews suggests a reliable and effective solution for improving customer experience and driving sales. The try-before-you-buy model addresses a key pain point for online shoppers in these verticals, and the positive reviews indicate that the app delivers on its promises.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Razorpay Secure claims "seamless onboarding and completely digital KYC". Try with Mirra states "seamless integration with your tech stack." Without user reviews, Razorpay's ease of use is uncertain. Try with Mirra's integration focus suggests existing tech compatibility is key to its ease of setup.
Which app is more suitable for a new Shopify store?
Both *could* be relevant to a new store, depending on the products being sold. Try with Mirra is more appropriate for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle stores looking to overcome customer hesitation about online fit and style. Razorpay Secure *might* be useful if the store is selling internationally and needs to support various payment methods, but the lack of reviews makes it a risky choice.
Does Razorpay Secure offer customer support?
The provided description of Razorpay Secure does not explicitly mention customer support. This absence is concerning.
How does Try with Mirra handle returns?
Try with Mirra offers "hassle-free returns for customers and merchants" through a customer portal, putting shoppers in control of the return process. This reduces the merchant's administrative burden and improves the customer experience.
Which app is more focused on security?
Razorpay Secure explicitly highlights its PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, indicating a strong focus on payment security. Try with Mirra mentions "Secure payment storage at checkout", but does not specify compliance standards. If payment security is paramount, Razorpay *potentially* has the edge, assuming it delivers on its claims (pending user reviews).
Are there any risks associated with using Razorpay Secure?
The major risk associated with Razorpay Secure is the lack of reviews. No user feedback makes it impossible to assess the app's reliability, ease of use, or effectiveness. There is a risk it may not work as intended, or that customer support is lacking.
