Recent Product by Saio vs ST: Product & Collection Sortfor Shopify (2026)
Recent Product by Saio and ST: Product & Collection Sort both address product display and collection management within a Shopify store, but they cater to different merchant needs and sophistication levels. Recent Product by Saio focuses on simplicity, offering a quick and easy way to showcase new and updated products. Its core value proposition is automating the creation of 'New Arrivals' collections, eliminating manual work for merchants who prioritize featuring their latest inventory. Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a straightforward and effortless way to feature their newest products, Recent Product by Saio might seem appealing. However, the extremely low rating and almost non-existent review count should be a major red flag. Given this and the limited feature set, it is hard to recommend this app to any merchant. It is likely abandoned or seriously flawed. ST: Product & Collection Sort is the clear choice for merchants aiming to boost revenue through optimized collection sorting. Its advanced features, coupled with a significantly higher rating and a substantial number of positive reviews, make it a more reliable and effective solution. While it may require more initial setup and learning, the potential return on investment in terms of increased sales and reduced manual workload is considerably higher. ST is also the best option if the merchant wants to feature products by criteria beyond recency.
