Recently Viewed ‑ Pasilobus vs W3 Product Accessoriesfor Shopify (2026)
Recently Viewed ‑ Pasilobus and W3 Product Accessories, while both categorized under 'Product display,' cater to very different needs within a Shopify store. Recently Viewed focuses on enhancing user experience and driving repeat visits by showcasing a customer's browsing history. Its core value proposition is improved customer retention and reduced bounce rates, appealing to merchants focused on personalized shopping experiences. In contrast, W3 Product Accessories is designed to boost average order value through one-click upsells of related products and accessories. This app targets merchants aiming to maximize revenue per transaction by suggesting complementary items at the point of purchase. The primary distinction lies in their strategic goals: Pasilobus aims to re-engage customers based on past activity, while W3 focuses on immediate upselling during an active purchase. The stark difference in user reviews and ratings further highlights the current standing of these apps in the market. W3 Product Accessories boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with over 100 reviews, signaling a strong level of user satisfaction. Pasilobus, on the other hand, lacks any reviews, making it difficult to assess its performance and reliability. This makes W3 Product Accessories a much safer choice, at least at first glance.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a proven solution with positive user feedback to increase average order value through related product upsells, W3 Product Accessories is the clear choice. Its high rating and numerous reviews provide confidence in its functionality and support. W3 would be ideal for stores selling products where accessories or related items are common (e.g., electronics, fashion).
Recently Viewed ‑ Pasilobus, while potentially beneficial for improving customer retention by personalizing the browsing experience, carries significant risk due to the lack of reviews. Until the app gains traction and demonstrates positive user feedback, it is difficult to recommend, especially when compared to W3 Product Accessories. If a store has a high bounce rate and wants to help customers find products they were previously interested in, and is willing to take a chance on an unproven app, Pasilobus may be worth exploring, but only after careful consideration and monitoring.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Recently Viewed likely offers a simpler initial setup due to its automatic capture of product views. However, W3 Product Accessories might require more configuration to define related products. Determining the actual ease of use for Recently Viewed is impossible without reviews.
Which app is better for increasing sales?
W3 Product Accessories directly focuses on increasing sales by prompting customers to add related products to their cart. Recently Viewed aims to increase sales indirectly by encouraging return visits and reminding customers of previously viewed items. W3's immediate impact is generally greater.
Which app provides better customer support?
It's impossible to determine which app provides better customer support based solely on the descriptions. The lack of reviews for Recently Viewed makes it difficult to assess support quality. The existence of many positive reviews for W3 indicates a good degree of customer satisfaction.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?

Which app is a safer choice for my Shopify store?
W3 Product Accessories is the safer choice due to its established track record of positive user reviews. The lack of any reviews for Recently Viewed makes it a significantly riskier proposition.
