RecoBounce – Absprünge senken vs WAX: marketing on WhatsAppfor Shopify (2026)
RecoBounce – Absprünge senken and WAX: marketing on WhatsApp both aim to boost sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from drastically different angles. RecoBounce focuses on on-site conversion by targeting visitors about to leave the store, attempting to recapture potentially lost sales through offers and product recommendations. It's designed for immediate impact, directly influencing a user's decision before they abandon their shopping session. WAX, on the other hand, leverages WhatsApp as a marketing channel for customer engagement and retention. It focuses on building longer-term customer relationships and driving sales through conversational marketing, abandoned cart recovery, back-in-stock alerts, and post-purchase flows. While both apps aim to increase revenue, RecoBounce is about immediate conversion, whereas WAX is about building a relationship and driving repeated purchases via a platform outside of the Shopify storefront. Given the number of reviews (41 vs 1), WAX has a much larger user base, suggesting greater adoption and potentially more proven results. RecoBounce is targeted specifically to merchants who need to stop losing sales as people exit their sites. WAX provides features for the merchant looking to build out a full marketing stack.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a quick and easy solution to reduce bounce rates and recapture potentially lost sales *immediately*, RecoBounce – Absprünge senken is worth exploring. Its straightforward focus on exit-intent offers makes it simple to set up. However, the very limited number of reviews should warrant extra caution and thorough testing before full deployment.
WAX: marketing on WhatsApp is the superior choice for merchants looking to invest in a robust, long-term customer engagement strategy using WhatsApp. Its wider range of features, coupled with a larger number of positive reviews, suggests a more proven and comprehensive solution. If building a direct relationship through messaging with customers is important, WAX is likely the better investment, though it may require a more significant time investment to fully implement and optimize.
