Common Questions
Does Recomailer allow scheduling of general marketing emails or only personalized product recommendations?
Based on the description, Recomailer primarily focuses on personalized product recommendations based on previous purchases, although it allows for recurring marketing emails. It is not clearly stated that it can send completely general marketing emails without any prior customer data.
Can Timedify be used to schedule email sends, or is it limited to content on the store's website?
Timedify is explicitly designed for scheduling the visibility of content directly on the store's website. It cannot be used to schedule email sends; Recomailer handles that aspect.
Which app offers more granular control over customer segmentation for targeting?
The description of Recomailer suggests some degree of customer segmentation based on past purchases, although the extent of granularity isn't clear. Timedify does not offer customer segmentation features.
Is either app GDPR compliant?
Recomailer explicitly mentions sending emails only to customers who have opted in and providing unsubscribe options, implying GDPR compliance. Timedify doesn't mention GDPR compliance directly in its description, but any app handling personal data must adhere to GDPR regulations.
Which app would be easier to implement for a store with limited technical expertise?
Based on the descriptions, Timedify might be easier to implement initially, as it involves placing Start and End blocks around existing content. Recomailer might require more initial setup to define email sequences and personalize product recommendations.
