Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with maintaining a clean and error-free website to improve SEO and user experience, Redirect Hero is the clear choice. Its focus is singular, and the high number of positive reviews suggests reliability and effectiveness in addressing broken links. ShortLink, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants actively managing and optimizing extensive marketing campaigns across various channels. The comprehensive tracking features and influencer management capabilities make it a valuable tool for those prioritizing data-driven marketing strategies.
Therefore, a smaller store or a store without a dedicated marketing team, might find Redirect Hero more immediately useful and easy to manage. Larger stores and brands with robust marketing plans likely have a greater need for a dedicated tool like ShortLink. Before purchasing either, it would be best to compare these apps to alternatives such as Easy Redirects and Bitly, to see if the listed apps are superior in 2026.
