Our Verdict
The choice between ReelUp and Zakeke hinges on the merchant's business model. ReelUp is ideal for stores seeking to leverage video content to drive sales. If a merchant wants to showcase user-generated content or create TikTok-like shoppable experiences, ReelUp is the better choice. The high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest strong user satisfaction.
Zakeke, however, is the clear winner for businesses offering customizable products. Its advanced customization features, 3D product configuration, and integration with print-on-demand services make it a powerful tool for businesses looking to offer unique product experiences and streamline their order process. While the rating is slightly lower and the number of reviews fewer, the specialized functionality makes it invaluable for the right type of business.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
ReelUp is likely easier to set up and use, as it focuses on importing and displaying videos. Zakeke, with its complex customization options, likely requires a more significant time investment and potentially technical expertise.
Which app is better for improving SEO?
ReelUp directly aims at improving SEO by increasing user engagement and time spent on the store, due to the autoplay video features and other engagement tricks. Zakeke can indirectly influence SEO if personalized products get more social shares, but ReelUp is a direct tactic.
Which app is more suitable for clothing retailers?
Zakeke, with its AR and virtual try-on features, offers a significant advantage for clothing retailers. ReelUp can still be beneficial for showcasing clothing in video format, but Zakeke's features are specifically tailored for clothing sales.
Do both apps impact the page loading speed of my Shopify store?
ReelUp emphasizes its zero impact on page loading speed, likely due to optimized video embedding. Zakeke's impact on page speed would depend on the complexity of the 3D models and customization features used, requiring testing. Optimize assets for both apps.
Which app is likely more expensive?
Determining the exact cost of each app in 2026 is impossible without pricing information. However, given the advanced functionality and production-ready file generation, Zakeke is potentially the more expensive option due to the complexity of the features it provides. Check the pricing plans of each app.
