Our Verdict
Referral Candy & Affiliate is the better choice for established Shopify stores looking to integrate a comprehensive affiliate and referral program into their existing tech stack. Its integrations with popular subscription apps and focus on accurate attribution and targeted campaigns make it suitable for businesses aiming for scalability and detail. Simple Affiliate, with its higher (but less-supported) rating and emphasis on ease of use, is ideal for startups or smaller stores seeking a straightforward affiliate marketing solution. The direct affiliate sign-up and tax management features will be valuable for those prioritizing simplicity and regulatory compliance over advanced features and integrations.
