Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to acquire new customers through referrals and affiliates, while minimizing reliance on paid advertising, Referral Candy & Affiliate is the better choice. Its emphasis on targeted campaigns, detailed reporting on affiliate performance, and support for various reward types makes it a powerful tool for managing these programs. However, if a merchant wants to build a fully branded, comprehensive loyalty program to reward existing customers, incentivize repeat purchases, and create a sense of community, Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program is the more suitable option. Its focus on points, VIP tiers, and extensive customization options allows merchants to create a highly engaging loyalty experience. Smile's higher review count also suggests broader adoption and potentially more community resources.
