Our Verdict
Simple Affiliate is likely a strong choice for merchants prioritizing ease of use and a streamlined experience, particularly those drawn to the promise of automating much of their affiliate program management, including tax form handling. Its customer accounts feature directly addresses conversion of site visitors to affiliates. Refersion, with its larger review count, suggests a more established app, potentially offering a more comprehensive suite of features and integrations that might be better suited for larger businesses with more complex affiliate marketing needs who aren't as concerned about ease of use. However, merchants should be wary of the higher potential for bugs with a more established program and conduct more in-depth research beyond the summary provided.
