Relocate+ Order Editor vs Unified Repairs Supportfor Shopify (2026)
Relocate+ Order Editor and Unified Repairs Support, while both categorized under 'Helpdesk' in the Shopify App Store, cater to fundamentally different needs. Relocate+ Order Editor focuses on post-purchase order management and self-service editing, empowering customers to modify their orders for address changes, product adjustments, and cancellations within defined rules. Its core strength lies in automating customer support and reducing errors related to shipping and order fulfillment. In contrast, Unified Repairs Support is a dedicated repair ticket management system designed for e-commerce stores that offer repair services. Its strengths are in tracking repair requests, managing statuses, and generating draft orders based on repair materials. The critical difference is that Relocate+ aims to prevent issues preemptively by giving the customer control of their orders; Unified Repairs Support reacts to issues that already exist.

Our Verdict
Relocate+ Order Editor is the clear choice for merchants seeking to proactively reduce customer service inquiries and shipping errors through self-service order modification. Its rule-based system and integrations make it well-suited for high-volume stores aiming to streamline the post-purchase experience. On the other hand, Unified Repairs Support is specifically tailored for e-commerce businesses that also provide repair services for their products. If your business doesn't offer repairs, then Unified Repairs Support is irrelevant. But if you do, Unified Repairs Support provides an organized way to track and manage repairs from start to finish.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing customer support tickets?
Relocate+ Order Editor is better suited for directly reducing customer support tickets by allowing customers to self-service edits related to shipping addresses, products, and cancellations. Unified Repairs Support addresses repair-related issues, a different aspect of customer support.
Can customers change their shipping address with Unified Repairs Support?
No, Unified Repairs Support focuses on managing repair requests and tracking repair progress, not order editing.
Which app integrates with ShipStation?
Relocate+ Order Editor integrates with ShipStation to help manage fulfillment. Unified Repairs Support does not mention ShipStation integration.
If my customers frequently want to add products after placing an order, which app is best?
Relocate+ Order Editor's 'add/remove products' feature directly addresses this need, enabling customers to modify their order contents. Unified Repairs Support doesn't offer this functionality.
Is either app suitable for a dropshipping business?
Relocate+ Order Editor can be beneficial for dropshipping businesses needing to provide customers with order editing options, reducing potential errors since the merchant has little control over order fulfillment. Unified Repairs Support is likely not relevant unless the dropshipping business also handles repairs.
