Relocate+ Order Editor vs Workflow Automation—React Flowfor Shopify (2026)
Relocate+ Order Editor and Workflow Automation—React Flow both aim to optimize Shopify order management, but they address fundamentally different needs. Relocate+ Order Editor focuses on empowering customers with self-service order editing capabilities, allowing them to modify addresses, products, and other details *after* an order is placed. This reduces support tickets and return rates. Workflow Automation—React Flow, on the other hand, centers on automating a broad range of back-end processes related to orders, customers, and inventory management. It streamlines tasks like order fulfillment, customer tagging, and email marketing, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency. Relocate+ Order Editor's strength lies in its customer-facing functionality and its ability to improve the post-purchase experience. It targets merchants who prioritize customer satisfaction and seek to minimize support workload related to order modifications. Conversely, Workflow Automation—React Flow is ideal for merchants needing to automate complex operational workflows and integrate with various third-party services. Its wide range of triggers, conditions, and integrations allows for highly customized automation scenarios. The substantial difference in review count (168 vs 31) suggests Workflow Automation—React Flow has broader adoption and potentially more comprehensive functionality.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily struggling with customer service requests related to order changes (addresses, products, cancellations), Relocate+ Order Editor is the clear choice. Its focus on self-service order editing directly addresses this pain point. If, however, a merchant needs to automate a broader range of tasks, such as order fulfillment, customer tagging, email marketing, and integrations with various third-party platforms, Workflow Automation—React Flow provides a more comprehensive solution despite its potentially more complex setup. Ultimately, the better app depends on the specific operational needs and priorities of the Shopify store.
Common Questions
Does Relocate+ Order Editor automate back-end workflows like React Flow?
No, Relocate+ Order Editor primarily focuses on customer-facing order editing. Workflow Automation is designed for backend automation
Can React Flow enable customers to edit their own orders?
No, while it automates processes *related* to orders, it doesn't provide a self-service order editing interface for customers. Relocate+ Order Editor does.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Relocate+ Order Editor is likely simpler to set up due to its focused functionality. Workflow Automation's custom workflow builder implies more initial configuration.
Which app offers more integrations?
Workflow Automation—React Flow boasts a wider range of integrations, including Mailchimp, Slack, and Google Sheets, compared to Relocate+ Order Editor which highlights ShipStation and Recharge.
Which app is better for reducing return rates?
Relocate+ Order Editor is likely more effective at directly reducing return rates, as it allows customers to correct order errors themselves before shipment. Workflow Automation could indirectly reduce returns through better order management (e.g., preventing orders from blacklisted customers).
