Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing in-depth data analysis, custom reporting, and gaining a clear understanding of their business performance, Report Toaster: Custom Reports is the superior choice. Its higher rating and larger number of reviews indicate greater user satisfaction and a more robust feature set for analytics. Shopify Bill Pay, while potentially useful for streamlining bill payments and vendor management, is hampered by a significantly lower rating, making it a riskier proposition.
Therefore, if your primary need is financial reporting and analytics, Report Toaster is the clear winner. However, if you're specifically struggling with managing bill payments and vendor payouts and are willing to take a risk on a lower-rated app, Shopify Bill Pay could offer some value, especially if you already use Shopify Balance or QuickBooks Online.
