Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech vs Rockit Discounts & Sales Appfor Shopify (2026)
Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech and Rockit Discounts & Sales App, while both categorized under 'Pricing' in the Shopify app store, serve drastically different purposes. Request Quote focuses on enabling B2B or custom order workflows by allowing customers to request quotes for products through a 'Get Quote' button, managing these requests within the app's admin panel, and streamlining communication for specialized orders. It targets merchants with complex product offerings or those catering to B2B clients where customized pricing is common. In stark contrast, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is designed for high-volume sales and promotional activities. It empowers merchants to schedule flash sales, offer various types of discounts (percentage, fixed price, line item), and create a sense of urgency through countdown timers and sale badges. The fundamental difference lies in their approach to pricing. Request Quote facilitates individualized, negotiated pricing, while Rockit Discounts & Sales App aims to implement broad, automated pricing strategies for sales and discounts. Request Quote is essentially a lead capture and communication tool centered around price inquiries, whereas Rockit Discounts & Sales App is a comprehensive sales management and promotional engine. The vast disparity in ratings and reviews (0/5 with 0 reviews vs. 5/5 with 310 reviews) further underscores the maturity and user satisfaction of the Rockit Discounts & Sales App, although Request Quote could be a newer app or one with limited adoption thus far.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing to manage custom orders, B2B inquiries, or provide individualized pricing, Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech, despite its current lack of reviews, is the more relevant option. Its focus on capturing quote requests and facilitating communication is crucial for these types of businesses. However, given the lack of social proof, proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app's functionality.
For merchants aiming to run flash sales, implement automated discounts, and generally boost sales through promotional pricing strategies, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the clear winner. Its high rating, numerous reviews, and feature set focused on automated sales management make it a much more established and reliable choice for typical e-commerce discount scenarios. If you are not doing B2B, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the recommended choice.
