Resell Pro ‑ collect bids vs Wholesale Discount Pro B2B Appfor Shopify (2026)
Resell Pro ‑ collect bids and Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App both target pricing strategies, but cater to drastically different business models and customer bases. Resell Pro positions itself as an innovative bidding platform, aiming to allow customers to set their own prices through a bidding process on individual product pages. This could attract merchants looking for a unique way to engage customers and potentially move inventory with flexible pricing. In contrast, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is explicitly designed for wholesale operations, facilitating tiered pricing and business-to-business transactions. The primary difference lies in their target audience. Resell Pro seems geared towards retailers selling directly to consumers (B2C) who want a dynamic pricing approach. Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App focuses on merchants selling in bulk to other businesses (B2B). The user experience and features are tailored accordingly: Resell Pro emphasizes a bidding button on the product page and bid management, whereas Wholesale Discount Pro would likely offer features related to tiered pricing, customer groups, and order minimums (though not explicitly stated, it's heavily implied by the name). The significant disparity in ratings and number of reviews suggests a much stronger market validation for Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants engaged in wholesale or B2B sales, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is the clear choice, given its explicit focus, the strong positive feedback, and likely feature set catered to wholesale needs. Its 5/5 rating with 8 reviews provides a much greater degree of confidence.
Resell Pro ‑ collect bids, while potentially innovative, carries significant risk due to its lack of reviews and unproven market validation. It *might* be suitable for merchants looking for a highly experimental customer engagement strategy and willing to be early adopters, but only with caution and a clear understanding of the potential risks. Unless the merchant *specifically* needs customer-driven bidding, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is the safer and more reliable option.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Resell Pro claims to require no coding, which suggests simplicity in initial setup. However, the lack of reviews makes it hard to verify. The ease of use of Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is unknown but a higher rating may imply ease of use, at least for its target B2B functions.
Which app is better for increasing revenue?
It depends on the business model. Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App likely focuses on increasing volume sales through discounted pricing for bulk orders. Resell Pro could potentially increase revenue by uncovering what customers are willing to pay for specific products, albeit with more risk and management overhead.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it's unlikely to be beneficial or make sense. They target fundamentally different sales strategies. Running both would be confusing for customers and merchants alike.
What type of products are suitable for Resell Pro?
Resell Pro could work best for products where perceived value varies widely (e.g., collectibles, art, discontinued items) or where moving inventory quickly is a priority.
What are the risks associated with using Resell Pro?
The primary risk is low adoption and the potential for customers to bid significantly lower than the desired price. Without a well-defined minimum bid or reserve price, it could lead to lower profit margins or unsold inventory. The absence of reviews also makes it difficult to assess its reliability and ease of use.
