Resell Pro ‑ collect bids vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
Resell Pro ‑ collect bids and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form both address pricing quotes on Shopify, but approach it from drastically different angles. Resell Pro focuses on enabling customers to bid on products, aiming to create a dynamic, competitive environment where customers set their own prices. It's designed to drive engagement and potentially move inventory through competitive bidding, targeting merchants who want to experiment with a novel pricing strategy. YouQuote, on the other hand, provides a more traditional 'Request a Quote' form. YouQuote is geared towards merchants needing customized pricing, likely for complex or high-value products, bulk orders, or custom services. The app focuses on facilitating direct communication between customers and merchants to determine optimal pricing. The existing user reviews and perfect rating of YouQuote suggest it is a mature and well-received application, while Resell Pro lacks any user feedback, making its effectiveness uncertain. The primary distinction lies in the control over pricing: Resell Pro shifts power to the customer, while YouQuote maintains merchant control through quote negotiation.

Our Verdict
For merchants exploring innovative ways to engage customers and move products quickly, even at potentially discounted prices, Resell Pro ‑ collect bids presents an interesting, albeit untested, option. The lack of reviews makes it a risky choice, however. Merchants with complex products, large orders, or a need for personalized pricing should strongly consider YouQuote: Request a Quote Form. The app's perfect rating and positive reviews suggest a stable and effective solution for managing quote requests.
Ultimately, YouQuote is the safer and more proven bet, especially for businesses relying on customized pricing strategies. Resell Pro could be considered by merchants with a high risk tolerance who are willing to experiment with a bidding-based model, though the absence of user reviews makes it difficult to ascertain its efficacy. A business would be wise to monitor the app closely and test small subsets of its inventory with Resell Pro before expanding the roll-out.
