Returbo: Returns & Exchanges vs Trustway: Package Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
Returbo: Returns & Exchanges and Trustway: Package Protection both aim to enhance the post-purchase experience for Shopify merchants, but they address different pain points. Returbo focuses specifically on streamlining the returns and exchanges process, directly impacting customer satisfaction related to product fit or defects. It aims to provide a user-friendly and efficient system for managing returns, likely reducing operational overhead. Trustway, on the other hand, centers on package protection against loss, theft, or damage during transit, aiming to alleviate customer service burdens and protect revenue against these incidents. Returbo, with significantly more reviews (68 compared to Trustway's 1), suggests a more established presence and a broader user base, potentially indicating higher confidence in its effectiveness in handling returns and exchanges. Trustway positions itself as a solution to increase AOV and profit margins by offering package protection, which may be particularly appealing to merchants selling higher-value items or those experiencing frequent shipping issues. The choice between the two depends heavily on the specific challenges a merchant faces; returns vs. shipping issues are key considerations.
