ReviewsYard — Product Reviews vs STAFF START（スタッフがECでオンライン接客）連携for Shopify (2026)
ReviewsYard — Product Reviews and STAFF START（スタッフがECでオンライン接客）連携, while both touching on product reviews within Shopify, serve fundamentally different purposes and target vastly different merchant profiles. ReviewsYard focuses solely on gathering, displaying, and managing customer-generated reviews. Its core strength lies in automating the review collection process through email requests, offering incentives, and providing attractive on-site review displays. It's built for merchants who want to improve product credibility and conversion rates using social proof. STAFF START, on the other hand, is a comprehensive staff-driven customer engagement platform. It empowers store and office staff to create and share product content (photos, videos, blogs, reviews) directly on the EC site, track sales generated through their engagement, and improve staff motivation through performance-based rewards. The core difference is ReviewsYard focuses on the *customer* generating reviews, while STAFF START focuses on *staff* generating content, *including* reviews, alongside a broader range of promotional materials and customer interaction tools. STAFF START's headline highlights brand adoption numbers and transactional volume, emphasizing its enterprise-level capabilities. Its strength lies in bridging the online and offline retail experiences by leveraging staff expertise for online sales and customer engagement. It's for larger merchants with a significant physical store presence or a large staff looking to leverage their staff's knowledge to enhance EC sales and customer interaction.

Our Verdict
ReviewsYard — Product Reviews is ideal for businesses of all sizes looking for a straightforward and effective solution for collecting and displaying customer reviews to build trust and increase sales. Its ease of use and focus on automation make it a good choice for merchants who want to improve their product credibility without significant manual effort. It's a great solution for increasing conversion rates on individual product pages by making them more trustworthy through social proof.
STAFF START（スタッフがECでオンライン接客）連携 is suitable for larger retailers with a significant physical store presence and a desire to integrate their online and offline channels. The requirement for a separate STAFF START contract and the emphasis on staff management and performance tracking suggest a more complex and resource-intensive implementation. While product reviews are a component, the core value lies in enabling staff to drive sales and engagement, making it a strategic investment in staff-driven customer experience. If you are looking for a product review *solution*, ReviewsYard is the better pick. If you are looking for a full staff-integrated sales platform where staff review is *one* piece, STAFF START is more suitable.
