Our Verdict
Choosing between REZ Back In Stock Notify Me and Stock Meter: Real‑Time Stock depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs and inventory management strategy. REZ is a more robust solution for businesses that routinely deal with out-of-stock situations or offer pre-sale options. The ability to collect partial payments and manage backorders provides a significant advantage. Stock Meter is best suited for merchants who want a simple, straightforward way to create a sense of urgency and highlight product demand, especially when running limited-time promotions or dealing with fast-selling items. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice compared to the proven track record of REZ.
