Ricemill | Fulfilment vs ScrubBillfor Shopify (2026)
Ricemill | Fulfilment and ScrubBill are both Shopify shipping solutions, but cater to vastly different geographic markets and specific courier integrations. Ricemill focuses on the Australian market, offering direct integration with Australia Post MyPost, eParcel, and Sendle. Its strengths lie in its simplicity, ease of setup (claimed 5-minute setup), and direct printing capabilities tailored to Australian carriers, particularly for merchants already using Australia Post's services and seeking to leverage business savings. ScrubBill, on the other hand, targets South African merchants, providing integration with over 30 local couriers. Its value proposition centres on a comprehensive suite of features, including order syncing, waybill generation and printing, pick and pack lists, and a returns module. ScrubBill appears to be a more feature-rich and robust solution for merchants requiring broader courier support and advanced fulfillment workflows within South Africa.

Our Verdict
The choice between Ricemill | Fulfilment and ScrubBill hinges entirely on the merchant's location and preferred couriers. For Australian merchants, especially those already using Australia Post MyPost Business, Ricemill offers a streamlined and potentially cost-effective solution for label printing and basic fulfillment. Its claimed 5-minute setup makes it attractive for merchants seeking a quick and easy integration. However, for South African merchants requiring integration with a wide range of local couriers and more advanced features like pick and pack lists and a dedicated returns module, ScrubBill is the clear winner. The slightly lower rating of ScrubBill should be considered in light of its feature-rich offering and different user base, but the ultimate decision is about geography and courier needs.
