Rimix Product Badges & Labels vs Tryon: Try Before You Buyfor Shopify (2026)
Rimix Product Badges & Labels and Tryon: Try Before You Buy are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the customer experience, but they address vastly different needs within the Promotions category. Rimix focuses on visual merchandising, enabling merchants to create and display product badges to highlight specific product features, promotions, or inventory status. It's designed for ease of use and aims to improve product discoverability and conversion rates through visual cues. Tryon, on the other hand, aims to increase customer trust and sales by offering a "Try Before You Buy" option. This allows customers to try products at home before committing to a purchase, using an authorization hold to secure payment. It's particularly useful for products where customers might hesitate due to sizing, material, or style uncertainties. While both apps fall under the "Promotions - Other" category, they appeal to distinct merchant segments and tackle different pain points in the customer journey.
