Rockit Discounts & Sales App vs Steppun Discountfor Shopify (2026)
Rockit Discounts & Sales App and Steppun Discount both aim to help Shopify merchants implement discount strategies, but they approach the problem from different angles. Rockit Discounts & Sales App focuses on broad, automated sales events with features like flash sales, bulk pricing updates, and visual sale badges to create urgency. Steppun Discount, on the other hand, emphasizes granular control and profit margin protection by allowing merchants to limit discounts by quantity or amount, target specific customer segments, and schedule offers precisely. Rockit appears geared towards merchants seeking rapid sales boosts, while Steppun targets businesses prioritizing controlled promotions and optimized profitability. The key difference lies in the scale and automation of discounts. Rockit provides tools for large-scale sales, emphasizing display elements to drive conversions, while Steppun offers more fine-grained control over who receives discounts and how much they receive. This makes Rockit a strong contender for merchants running frequent, sitewide sales events, whereas Steppun is better suited for businesses seeking targeted promotions to specific customer groups without significantly impacting profit margins. The higher review count of Rockit suggests broader adoption, but the near-perfect rating of both apps suggests strong user satisfaction within their respective target niches.
