Rockit Discounts & Sales App vs thnkr ‑ Price trackingfor Shopify (2026)
Rockit Discounts & Sales App and thnkr ‑ Price tracking both aim to optimize pricing for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from vastly different angles. Rockit Discounts & Sales App focuses on *creating* sales events and discounts using bulk editing, scheduling, and visual displays. It empowers merchants to actively manage promotions and urgency to drive sales through manually configured discounts. In contrast, thnkr ‑ Price tracking offers *automated* price optimization by monitoring competitors and using AI to adjust pricing dynamically. Its strength lies in removing manual effort and leveraging data to maintain competitive pricing and maximize revenue. Rockit targets merchants who want direct control over their sales strategy and promotional events, those who frequently run flash sales or seasonal promotions. Its features center around scheduled discounts and sale displays to attract customers. thnkr, conversely, appeals to merchants seeking a hands-off solution, particularly those in highly competitive markets where constant price adjustments are crucial. The AI-driven automation allows merchants to focus on other aspects of their business while ensuring they are competitively priced.
