Our Verdict
Rockit Discounts & Sales App is best suited for merchants who want to implement broad, automated sales and discount campaigns across their entire product catalog. Its scheduling and bulk editing features are invaluable for managing large-scale promotions. It will appeal to stores that rely on driving volume through price incentives. Treo · Auction Plus, however, is a niche solution. It's ideal for merchants selling unique or limited-edition items who want to experiment with alternative pricing strategies and cultivate customer engagement through auctions and 'Make an Offer' scenarios. While Rockit enjoys significantly more reviews and a slightly higher rating, Treo's North American based support may be appealing to some. Ultimately, the right choice depends on the merchant's specific product offerings and sales goals.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
While Rockit Discounts & Sales App has more features, its mature review count suggests a longer period for iterative improvements. Treo · Auction Plus, while newer, may offer a simpler setup for auctions. Further testing is needed, but anecdotaly, merchants may find Treo more streamlined for its specific auction function but lack the breadth of scheduling Rockit offers.
Which app offers better customer support?
Treo · Auction Plus explicitly mentions North American-based live chat and email support, which may be a significant advantage for some merchants. Rockit Discounts & Sales App doesn't specify its support location or channels in the description, so this is an area where Treo likely excels.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Technically, yes. You could use Rockit Discounts & Sales App for general sales and promotions while simultaneously using Treo · Auction Plus for specific, high-value items you want to auction. However, careful planning is needed to avoid conflicting pricing strategies or confusing customers.
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
It depends. Rockit Discounts & Sales App can increase average order value by encouraging customers to buy more items to qualify for discounts. Treo · Auction Plus can increase average order value by driving up the price of individual items through competitive bidding, particularly for rare or desirable products.
Which app is better for a new store?
Rockit Discounts & Sales App is likely a safer bet for a new store. It allows you to implement standard sales strategies that customers are familiar with. Treo · Auction Plus is more experimental and requires a niche product or customer base to be successful.
