Rockit Discounts & Sales App vs Uncap Quote Requestsfor Shopify (2026)
Rockit Discounts & Sales App and Uncap Quote Requests, while both categorized under 'Pricing' on Shopify, serve entirely different purposes and target vastly different merchant needs. Rockit Discounts & Sales App focuses on increasing sales volume through strategic discounting and flash sales. Its strength lies in its robust scheduling capabilities, bulk price editing, and visual display of discounts to create urgency. It targets merchants looking to boost sales through promotions and seasonal offers. Uncap Quote Requests, on the other hand, caters to merchants who offer customizable products or services, or those who operate in a business-to-business (B2B) context where pricing is often negotiated. It allows customers to request personalized quotes, facilitating a more bespoke sales process. The key differentiating factor is their core functionality: Rockit automates and manages discounts to drive immediate sales, while Uncap enables quote requests for potentially larger, more customized orders. The user experience is also likely different; Rockit aims for ease of use in setting up and scheduling discounts, whereas Uncap focuses on providing a customizable quote request form and analytics to track quote conversions. Rockit's established user base and high rating suggest a proven track record, a stark contrast to Uncap's lack of ratings or reviews, which might indicate a newer app or one with limited adoption, creating a risky choice for merchants in 2026.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to rapidly increase sales through promotional offers and discounts, the Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the clear choice. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews provide strong evidence of its effectiveness and reliability. The app's bulk editing, scheduling, and discount display features make it well-suited for managing large-scale sales campaigns.
On the other hand, the Uncap Quote Requests app is geared toward a niche market: businesses that need to provide customized quotes, particularly those selling bespoke products or services, or working with B2B clients. The lack of reviews, however, makes it a riskier choice. If you require quote request functionality, proceed with caution, thoroughly vetting the app and possibly contacting the developers for more information before committing to its use. Other quoting apps may provide a better starting point given the complete lack of user feedback for Uncap.
