Our Verdict
For standard retail merchants looking to run promotions, flash sales, and clearance events, Rockit Discounts & Sales App is the superior choice. Its features are geared towards creating a sense of urgency and easily implementing time-sensitive discounts across various product segments. However, if a merchant operates a wholesale or B2B business, Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B is essential. Its functionality specifically addresses the needs of B2B commerce, including tiered pricing for bulk orders, custom pricing arrangements, and allowing purchase orders with delayed payment options. While Rockit Discount & Sales App has a perfect score, its features are generally not applicable to Wholesale stores, where volume and ongoing pricing arrangements are critical.
Common Questions
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
While technically possible, it's generally not recommended. Using both apps together could lead to conflicting discount rules and a confusing customer experience. It's best to choose the app that aligns best with your core business model (B2C or B2B).
Does Rockit Discounts & Sales App support discounts based on customer groups?
Based on the provided information, Rockit Discounts & Sales App primarily focuses on product, collection, or variant-based discounts and does not explicitly mention customer group-specific discounts.
Can Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B be used for offering different prices to retail customers based on loyalty tiers?
While Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B is designed for wholesale, its custom pricing features could potentially be adapted to offer tiered discounts to retail customers based on loyalty levels, although its primary focus is volume-based wholesale pricing.
Is it possible to schedule discounts to end automatically with both apps?
Yes, Rockit Discounts & Sales App explicitly mentions a sale scheduler for auto sale resets. While Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B doesn't highlight scheduling, it's likely that pricing adjustments can be managed and timed manually, but might not have auto-end functionality.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a beginner?
Rockit Discounts & Sales App is likely easier for beginners focused on standard retail sales because it automates sales based on time and promotions, requiring less configuration of customer-specific settings. Wholesale Pricing Now: B2B will require more setup for configuring customer groups and tiered pricing, catering to specific business arrangements which requires more granular understanding.
